Did you know that Florida is now referred to by many as an "Abortion Tourist State", meaning that mothers-to-be from more abortion restrictive states (e.g. Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, etc.) are traveling to Florida in droves to obtain abortions? As a result, the number of abortions being performed in Florida is rapidly climbing, and your participation in this vigil is urgently needed.
We are praying to empower and protect abortion minded women and men, to save the lives of the pre-born, and to ultimately abolish abortion. Tragically enough, Bread and Roses is a very busy facility, and abortions are provided through 15 weeks of life.
Please know that '40 Days for Life' signs, shirts, pamphlets etc. will gladly be provided (please contact Liesa Borrillo at liesaborrillo@gmail.com or 517.281.5071 with your request).
Vigil hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m - 7 days a week. Parking is available across the street (behind Applebee's) and at Fiat Center (which is two doors down from the abortion clinic).
Please be advised that pro-abortion 'escorts' are typically present outside of Bread and Roses, and they typically play loud music in front of the facility (presumably to eliminate our contact with abortion vulnerable women and men).
Please do not stake 40DFL signs immediately in front of the clinic, as this constitutes a code violation. Signs may be staked directly across the street, however, in close proximity to the cement ledge (which is adjacent to the parking lot).
We are truly engaged in a spiritual battle to save lives ... please sign up for as many hours of prayer as possible.
Praying outside this abortion facility may be the last opportunity to save a pre-born child's life.
