YOU can help save lives! 40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of: We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America. What: Take a stand for life We are in need of 1,000+ volunteers to staff our 40 Days for Life campaign here in Alexandria! Would you consider donating just one hour of your time to stand up for the defenseless unborn who are being brutally murdered every day? Also, please help us spread the word about this effort to your local friends! We are in need of financial donations to cover supplies and expenses to reach out to every household in the city of Alexandria about the reality of abortion and positive alternatives for women. We are also in need of reporters, video/photographers, outreach walkers, prayer teams, event planners, and information/systems handlers. Please consider shining the light of life in a culture of death by contributing to this effort! Our local vigil will be held at Alexandria Medical and Professional Plaza There are two abortion clinics: Directions from Old Town: Take Duke St. west out of Old Town. Immediately after passing Telegraph Rd, take a right onto either W Taylor Run Pkwy or the service spur immediately following it. Take a left onto the Duke St service road and see the clinic business plaza on your right. You can park on Longview Dr on your right or elsewhere in the vicinity. From 395: Take the Duke St exit 3a which will put you on Duke St going east. Pass S Van Dorn, S Jordan, and N Quaker Ln. Take a left onto Cambridge Rd, and an immediate right onto the Duke St service road which will take you by the clinic. Parking is available on Longview Dr (ahead on your left) or elsewhere in the vicinity.
