YOU can help save lives!
This Fall, from September 22 to October 31, teams in over 200 cities from coast to coast in the United States – as well as locations in Canada, Australia and Northern Ireland – will join together for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history -- the 40 Days for Life campaign
YOU can help save lives!
40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:
40 days of prayer and fasting
40 days of peaceful vigil
40 days of community outreach
We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America.
We would like to emphasize that the core values of this campaign are prayer and fasting.
It is important to remember as we stand before the clinic that we do not bring condemnation - we bring God's good news.
It has become obvious to all that we will continue this effort until the clinic has been closed as hearts are softened and the demand for abortion is eliminated. We know we are making progress towards that goal when objections against us increase. This is manifested in many ways and we encourage all of you not to be distracted from our purpose.
Take a stand for life
While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside our local abortion facility.
You can help make a life-saving impact by joining our local vigil at:
Four Women, Inc.
150 Emory St.
Attleboro, MA
Sign up to participate in our local 40 Days for Life vigil by clicking the "Vigil Schedule" link at the top of this page.
We respectfully request that signs containing graphic images not be used. We have procured enough signs for all those who have registered to participate. If you have signed up for a specific hour on the vigil calendar and do not have a sign please contact us and we'll get one to you.
Please email us at 40DFLAttleboro@comcast.net, if you have had an experience you'd like to share with the group about your participation in the campaign. We'll include some of these in a periodic updates during the campaign.
Be a contact person
The best way to get volunteers is through announcements at church.
The best way to get pastors to announce our campaign is through a contact person who knows what needs to be done and is willing to take care of the details. Pastors are usually overwhelmed with projects with no time to take on another one.
All you have to do is let your pastor know that you have access to posters/flyers and bulletin announcements/inserts and that you would be happy to get them to his secretary.
All the pastor has to do is approve all announcements and it would be so appreciated if the pastor would personally encourage his flock to participate in this life saving effort.
That's it! We will provide all the material and write ups you will need. This local effort will go a long way in increasing our ranks. Please contact us if you are willing to be a contact for your church.

This past weekend a young woman drove around the park. The volunteers present thought she would be going into the clinic. She stopped to talk and indicated to those present that she had been scheduled for an abortion but after seeing the group praying with their signs she had a change of heart and informed them she would keep her baby. Praise God!!
