A unique approach to ending abortion
Join us February 13th - March 24th, 2013 as our community unites with cities from coast to coast , throughout the globe joining together for the 40 Days for Life prayer campaign. 40 Days for Life is an intensive effort designed to raise awareness, save lives, bring healing, and lead our nation to repentance for the sin of abortion through three components: Learn more about the national 40 Days for Life campaign. 1. Pray and fast Christ told us that some demons can only be driven out by prayer and fasting. The two go hand in hand. Prayer keeps us rooted in the fact that it is our desire to carry out God's will. Fasting is a sacrifice that helps us reach beyond our own limitations with God's help. Fasting is not a Christian diet; it is a form of physical prayer. You can fast from food, TV, alcohol ... anything that separates you from God. 2. Sign up for prayer requests and updates To learn more about 40 Days for Life and get prayer requests and breaking news about this effort from around the country, sign up today using the form on the top right of this page. 3. SIGN UP TO TAKE PART IN OUR VIGIL
Sign up to participate in our local 40 Days for Life vigil by clicking the "Vigil Schedule" link at the top of this page. We need your help to witness to the community and those entering Planned Parenthood that abortion is not the answer. Signing up for specific hours of prayer are important since we are working to have total 40-day coverage and we need to know which hours are still uncovered. This is not meant to discourage anyone from coming to pray if he or she truly cannot commit ahead of time.
The vigil is peaceful; participants sign a "Statement of Peace" on the vigil registration page in which they pledge that they will conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner. All people are welcome!
When you register your contact information at our "Vigil Schedule" link we will add you to our local weekly update list. During the campaign you will receive email updates on our local campaign and occasionally information about special upcoming events.
