Ground Zero Report - Day 31

October 23, 2009

Having been Blessed with  a safe surgery, ( Thank You God), I made my way down after Mass this afternoon, for a short stint carrying my "I regret My Abortion" sign. My neck was all bound up as I had a device to hold the skin graft on, but I felt the ever present need to be there if only for a few minutes cause I wasn't able to be there on Wednesday and Thursday.

My Blessed Father God ... as usual with Our  Blessed Mother Mary's umbrella of protection over me and  His Love Courage and Grace  kept me strong ,whilst I received more loud insults , at first muttered , then increasingly louder, when I would walk past the bus stop. I just prayed  more fervent Hail Mary's  and Our Fathers' and Glory be to the Fathers'.

The one very angry older woman was trying to engage a young woman in the bus shelter to  join with her into jeering me and insulting me alongside her, but the young woman did not join in.

Also, I take note that the woman who attacked S. (a peaceful Pro-Life vigiler -during the 1st vigil, seems to be more and more involved with the pro death group and is becoming bolder, when I walk by. She is aware I was asked to be a witness by the police when S. was attacked, last year,  and she is also aware that I am praying  and know God" Will WILL BE DONE.!  He wants a Peaceful Witness, but if one of the 40 Day Prayer person's is attacked, we must call for help, and attempt to stop vioence from hurting anyone. First call out for Jesus to help and pray Hail Mary's Loudly, to protect. We must not let these ever increasing attacks from the  dark side , cause us to cease be present at Cavalry. In fact, it should encourage us to be MORE in number.

Again, where are all  folk who say they are really Pro-Life? Surely in this huge city of pronounced "Catholics", some can gather down there for a little while to show the Babies , at least, that we care for them who cannot speak for themselves. Remember what Father Reilly said.

I think that it would make God smile and help wipe away His tears, if He saw us showing a better turnout.

Anyway...Thank You, God for making me able to be there, today even if only for a half hour.

God Bless
Frances Wilkinson
