HOME: Welcome to 40 Days for Life
YOU can help save lives! This spring, from February 22 – April 1, our community will be one of more than 307 cities across all 50 of the United States plus six Canadian provinces, three Australian states, and communities in Northern Ireland and Denmark - participating in the 40 Days for Life campaign. 40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of: We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America. Take a stand for life While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion (or Planned Parenthood) facility. You can help make a life-saving impact by joining our local vigil at: Defend the Sacredness of Human Life Forty Days for Life is about praying for a renewed respect for the sacredness of human life. From the very first moment of conception every single unborn child is a unique person made in the image and likeness of God. (This photo on the right shows an unborn child at only ten weeks from conception!) Forty Days for life offers a very unique way to give witness to the sacredness of human life by holding a peaceful vigil outside of abortion clinics, and by encouraging participants to pray and fast for a renewal of the respect for every single human person which is so lacking in today's society.
