From February 13-March 24, 
our community will be one of many joining together for a faith-filled, groundbreaking, coordinated pro-life mobilization -- 40 Days for Life.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America.

This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer and fasting

Take a stand for life

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion (or Planned Parenthood) facility.

You can help make a life-saving impact by joining our local vigil at:

Directions from the Merritt Parkway: Heading North - Exit 48, turn right onto Main Street. Heading South - Exit 48, turn left onto Main Street. Summit is 1.4 miles on the right. 

Directions from I-95 Heading North and South - Exit 27A for CT-25/CT-8N for Trumbull/Waterbury, Exit 4 Lindley Street, take 1st Left onto Capitol Avenue. Turn Right onto Main Street. Summit is 1.2 miles on the left.

Parking is available on side streets, or at the Catholic Center located at 238 Jewett Ave. (Jewett Ave. is the right before you reach Summit Women's Center -- about 2 blocks away )

We will be praying each day throughout the 40 Days from 10 AM to 6 PM out on the sidewalk in front of the Summit Women's Center. Please come and pray for 1 hour.

The vigil is peaceful; participants sign a "Statement of Peace" with a pledge that they will conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner. All people are welcome!
