Theme Song Verse - Where the Saints by Sara Groves
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." Hebrews 12: 1-3
Our Peace Statement
The vigil is always peaceful and prayerful. All participants agree to abide by the Statement of Peace with a pledge that they will conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner (The Statement of Peace is located on our download forms menu. Participants are not required to sign this form, but are to agree to the terms of this statement). Our heart is to reach out to the people at the clinics in a loving, not a condemning manner - not heckling them, but reaching out to them. There are other groups that are sometimes at the clinic who take a different approach with graphic signs, etc. This is not our approach, so if this bothers you or young children with you, please feel free to pray from your car or from wherever you feel comfortable.
