There may have been a buzz about 40 Days for Life in your parishes, but for those who haven't yet heard about 40 Days for Life, it is a movement solely based on saving the lives of children. The volunteers involved, pray, fast and reach out to their community in the hopes of spreading truth of what Planned Parenthood really does to women. Those involved reach the community by standing and witnessing in front of the Planned Parenthoodsin their local area for one hour. Pottstown and Collegeville are the closest in our area for 40 Days for Life, but it is a movement known nationwide. The movement ended on November 1 lasting a total of 40 days, and will resume again on Ash Wednesday of 2010, for the entire nation. One striking incident which occurred at a witness, on Oct. 21 was the coincidence of the Pottstown community having their Halloween Parade during the very same day. The coordinator of the Pottstown 40 Days for Life, Marie Detrinidad, commented on the irony of the scene by saying, "It is eerie because Planned Parenthood is the leading cause of death in America, and tonight we have Grim Reapers parading around the streets." Marie and her fellow volunteers stood strong in their efforts for the protection of innocent life, even while the town was celebrating the holiday most well known for being associated with death. The Pill Kills Women

Thanks to all of the participants in Protest the Pill Day ’09: The Pill Kills Women. This was our second annual event designed to educate women on the dangers of the birth control pill and other hormonal contraceptives. This year, we heard from pro-lifers in 21 states, and we had participation in a total of four countries!

On Thursday, June 4, American Life League held a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Speakers included Dr. Lynn Kerr, an associate clinical professor from the University of California at San Francisco; Dr. Paul Carpentier, a physician certified by the American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals; and Marie Hahnenberg, a researcher for American Life League. Jim Sedlak, vice president of American Life League, emceed the press conference.

A.M.D.G. - March 19, 2009 - Monsignor Tomichek prays the Divine Mercy Chaplet at Collegeville's Planned Parenthood on the Feast day of St. Joseph.  Monsignor Tomichek has held a very successful Parish Mission at St. Mary's in Schwenksville and St. Eleanor's in Collegeville entitled "Sanctification of the Family!"  St. Joseph, Pray for Us!  Head and Protector of the Family.  Our Lady of Guadalupe, Pray for Us!!!  Protectress of the Unborn and the Americas.  We are very grateful for Monsignor Tomichek to publicly witness and pray with the 40 Days for Life prayer warriors and to usher in the "Culture of Life!"

Education is greatly needed to the truth that Planned Parenthood is the destruction of the family.  Grand Illusion a must read book on the evil of a billion $ industry to surgically, medically and chemically abort children, destroy the purity of children, PP feeds off taxpayers money to perpetuate their immorality.  STD's are rampant due to immoral sexual behavior.  In documented cases, PP also protects the predators from being prosecuted.

But in short, Our Blessed Lord tells His faithful that we are the "salt of the earth".  Considering that at the time Our Lord said that, salt was just as valuable as gold. That is no small statement.

I firmly believe the Catholic Church in the United States and the west in general is entering a time of great change.

This change will demand much from us, much more than we have perhaps ever conceived of having to sacrifice.  We have to come to the realization very quickly that we could be entering into a period of persecution against the Church.

We are all sadly aware that the last forty years have brought about many destructive changes in the spiritual lives of many Catholics - most refuse to go to Mass, engage in the sacraments and so forth.  We know the devastation.

What is needed now is a total rock-solid re-commitment to the Faith and teachings of the Apostles, a counter-attack that has enveloped the culture and large parts of the west.

I ask you to prayerfully and seriously consider this one question -- What am I doing to advance the Kingdom of Heaven against Satan and his allies?

RealCatholicTV.com and Saint Michael's Media are done grieving over political outcomes.  A time for bold counter-cultural action is now needed - A Catholic Revolution.

Let's all join together and allow ourselves to be used to bring about the Kingdom of Heaven - no matter the personal cost.
