Statement from:  Most Reverend Michael J. Sheridan, Bishop of Colorado Springs:
“The most powerful weapons that we have to combat the evil of abortion are prayer and fasting.  The 40 Days for Life international campaign is an obvious way for every Catholic to join in prayer for an end to abortion in our country and our world.  I urge all to be involved.”

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local Planned Parenthood facility.

As of this posting, vehicles can be parked in the King Sooper's parking lot.  However, to be respectful, we ask you to park as far away from the business as possible to leave ample space for their customers (park in the parking spaces facing east) Pray along the Centennial Blvd. sidewalk.  DO NOT go into either of the 2 private drives (south and east) of Planned Parenthood.

Revised CODE 5-3-10:
No person shall knowingly obstruct, detain, hinder, impede, or block another person's entry to or exit from a health care facility.

No person shall knowingly approach another person within 8ft of such person, unless such other person consents, for the purpose of passing a leaflet or handbill to, displaying a sign to, or engaging in oral protest, education, or counseling with such other person in the public way or sidewalk area within a radius of 100ft from any entrance door to a healthcare facility.
