Click: endorsements. 40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of: We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America. While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion facility. You can help make a life-saving impact by joining our local vigil at: PARKING: You may use the option of parking behind the church (as long as you honor the Pastor's request to park as CLOSE to the church as possible) at 5858 Cleveland Ave., ~ 1/4 mi north of Rt 161 (E. Dublin Granville Rd.), on the East Side (right-hand-side while heading North on Cleveland). Can't miss the church. It has a big gold dome I, ____________________________________________, testify to the following: I will only pursue peaceful solutions to the violence of abortion when volunteering with the 40 Days for Life campaign I will show compassion and reflect Christ’s love to all abortuary employees, volunteers, and customers I understand that acting in a violent or harmful manner immediately and completely disassociates me from the 40 Days for Life campaign I am in no way associated with the abortuary/Planned Parenthood or its affiliates by way of employment, informant, volunteer, client, or otherwise While standing in the city right of way in front of the abortuary: I will not obstruct the driveways or sidewalk while standing in the public right of way I will not litter on the public right of way I will closely attend to any children I bring to the prayer vigil I will not threaten, physically contact, or verbally abuse the abortuary/Planned Parenthood employees, volunteers, or customers I will not vandalize private property I will cooperate with local city authorities The local, volunteer "40 Days for Life" committee decided it would be very easy (and easiest) to fill our 40 days campaign with fruitful, prayerful people of God, if we simply chose/asked 40 churches/organizations to each be responsible for filling one day up from their own church/organization. It relieves the committee from scheduling changes and much work. With fasting and prayer for just one designated day, it relieves participants as well! Last year, people signed up for ongoing times/days, each week - some for greater than 4 hours per week! |
