7:00 PM – National Prayer Vigil for Life
Basilica of the National Shrine, 400 Michigan Ave. NE, Washington, DC (3 blocks west of Metro's Brookland- CUA station on the Red Line). Vigil will also be covered live on EWTN, which can also be viewed online at www.ewtn.com under “Television” > “Live TV.”

~9:00 PM – Greet attendees of National Vigil
Following the National Prayer Vigil for Life, 40 Days for Life national team members will be downstairs in the Basilica near the entrance to the Crypt Church to greet vigil attendees. Please be quiet and respectful of the church environment.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 22
8:15 AM – National Memorial for the Preborn and
their Mothers and Fathers
Interdenominational prayer and worship service to be held at the Congressional Auditorium in the Capitol Visitor Center, East Side of the US Capitol, Washington, DC. Fr. Frank Pavone will deliver the sermon, and numerous clergy and pro-life leaders will speak. The public is asked to be seated by 8:15 AM. The service will begin promptly at 8:30 AM.

Immediately following the National Memorial, in the Capitol Visitor Center auditorium (location above), join 40 Days for Life leaders and participants from across North America for a special time of networking and encouragement. Led by David Bereit, Shawn Carney and Fr. Frank Pavone.

12 Noon – March for Life
The March for Life begins with a rally on the National Mall near the 4th Street crossover. The march will follow the rally, moving up Constitution Avenue, taking a right on 1st Street, and ending in front of the U.S. Supreme Court.

~2:30 PM – Silent No More Awareness event
Post-abortion testimonies of pain, healing, forgiveness will be shared in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. 40 Days for Life national team members will attend the event which will be led by Silent No More campaign leaders Janet Morana and Georgette Forney, along with Fr. Frank Pavone.

40 Days for Life team members will attend this Champions for Family reception along with numerous national pro-life leaders, elected officials and dignitaries at the Phoenix Park Hotel, 520 North Capitol St. NW, Washington, DC (near the Union Station metro station.) WALK FOR LIFE WEST COAST ACTIVITIES IN SAN FRANCISCO

11:00 AM- Walk for Life West Coast
Tens of thousands of pro-lifers from across the West Coast will gather in San Francisco at Justin Herman Plaza on Market Street for the Walk for Life. The event will start with a rally featuring speakers and music, followed by the walk. At the conclusion of the walk, 40 Days for Life leaders and participants are invited to a special 40 Days for Life reunion and meet and greet at the 40 Days for Life information table that will be on the Marina Greens, near the end of the walk. Even though our national team members will still be in Washington, DC, Fr. Frank Pavone has agreed to join the 40 Days for Life gathering to meet and encourage everyone. T-shirts, flyers, and other 40 Days for Life material will be available. For more information, please contact Wynette Sills by e-mail or by phone at 916-955-1577.
