(Unfortunately our bin and chairs were taken; please bring whatever you might need when you come to pray: chair, blanket, umbrella, prayer material, etc. We face many challenges when we stand up for what is right, but we will not give up!)

40 Days for Life is an Interfaith Community Outreach to pray for the end of abortion in America.

Already registered? Sign up for vigil hours by clicking on VIGIL SCHEDULE and logging in with your email address and password.
Your prayerful presence is welcome anytime during the vigil hours.
Regular prayer vigils are held year-round at the following hours:
Wednesday & Saturday 8:00 am - 10:00 am
A Rosary Group gathers at 9:30am on Wednesdays
If you are available during these times, please prayerfully consider signing up for vigil hours during these times.
Churches and Pro-Life Organizations!
Have your church or other organization "Adopt a Day", either each week during the campaign, or one-time only.
Send us an email, and we'll reserve the day (or any smaller block of hours to which you wish to commit) for your group. Your organization's reservation will show up with an
orange stripe on the
VIGIL SCHEDULE; your individual members can then register themselves and sign up online for hours within that time, or you can manage your organization's commitment yourself, making sure that members of your group are present during your reserved hours.
(Note: If you place your computer's cursor over the orange stripe on the Vigil Schedule, your organization's name will be displayed.)
Get a group of 12 and cover an entire 12 hour day!

DIRECTIONS TO GLEN ELLYN VIGIL SITE:
Anchor Health Center, 1186 Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn
Adjacent to the House of Brides (big white building) on the north side of Roosevelt.
From the West:
- Take I-355 to Roosevelt Road in Glen Ellyn.
- Then go EAST three blocks on Roosevelt Road to Royal Glen Drive.
Aanchor Health Center is on the Northwest corner of Roosevelt and Royal Glen.
From the East:
- Take Roosevelt Road WEST two blocks of Finley Road to Royal Glen Drive.
Aanchor Health Center is on the Northwest corner of Roosevelt and Royal Glen.
PARKING: Please do not park in the Royal Glen apartment complex (north of the clinic), nor in the office building parking lot (east of the clinic), nor in front of the House of Brides. Parking is available on the west side of Surrey Street, 1 block WEST of the vigil site.

A Student Revival
Last year at this time we were standing in front of the abortion clinic when a young man approached us and said he was inspired when he saw so many people standing up against abortion. I wish I could say he was welcomed with open arms when we first met him, but because he didn't look like the leader of a revival we started throwing scripture verses at him before we had a chance to listen to him.
When we finally stopped to listen to him he told us that he and his friends wanted to do something radical for God. In fact, they were meeting just around the corner. And their plan was to hold a revival at a secular college in Dallas, TX. When I showed up on the 4th day of the revival I was surprised to see a giant wooden cross at the entrance of the school surrounded by young men and women singing.
How could there be a revival on a secular campus?
I was told that at the last minute they decided to meet with the President of the college to see if they could get permission to hold a revival. To their great surprise the President told them that she thought it was a great idea. And for five days the campus was presented with the only antidote that will heal our nation -- God.
