This fall, from September 26- November 4, our community will be one of many cities throughout the entire US, Canada and several other countries joining together for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history -- the 40 Days for Life campaign.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in Halifax -- and throughout Canada.

Take a stand for life

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local Victoria General Hospital, site of 1700 abortions annually.

You can help make a life-saving impact by joining our local vigil at:

Victoria General Hospital
South Park Street entrance
Halifax, Nova Scotia

We will hold the vigil on the public sidewalk, just beside the entrance to the main parking lot of the hospital

Vigil Hours:  Monday through Friday  8 am - 8 pm
                       Saturday  9 am - 5 pm
                       Sunday   1 pm - 5 pm

Opening prayer service, inter-denominational
Canadian Martyrs Church, Inglis Street
Tuesday, September 25 at 7 pm
