This fall, from September 23 - November 1, our community will be one of seven Canadian cities -- and many more throughout North America and beyond -- joining together for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history -- the 40 Days for Life campaign.
40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

40 days of prayer and fasting

40 days of peaceful vigil
-
40 days of community outreach
We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in K-W, Cambridge -- and throughout Canada.
Throughout biblical history, God has used a 40 day challenge to transform His people:
Notes: (1) The video mentions America, but is just as applicable to Canada. (2) It references 120 cities involved during last spring's campaign, but will include 212 cities this fall 2009.
Take a stand for life: donate prayer hours!
While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion facility.
You can help make a life-saving impact by joining our local vigil at:

Sign up to donate 1 hour or more of prayer & fasting to our local 40 Days for Life vigil by clicking the "Vigil Schedule" link at the top of this page, or right here. You'll first be required to register an account and fill out our "peace statement" in which you promise to obey the rules of peaceful conduct. Then you can advance the calendar to September 23 and sign-up for the hours which best suit you.
