40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

40 days of prayer and fasting
-
40 days of peaceful vigil
-
40 days of community outreach
We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America.
Our local team is planning several events for the spring, 2012, campaign:
40 Hour Prayer Vigil
March 23, 2:30 PM, through March 25, 7 AM
St. James Catholic Church
1102 Caledonia Street in La Crosse
Eucharistic Procession will begin at St. James at 2:30 PM, followed by the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3:00 in church. Adoration will continue for 40 hours.
40 Day Peaceful Prayer Vigil : Feb 22- April 1 (Mondays - Fridays, 2-6 PM) outside Options Clinic. Pick up or make your own signs and receive outreach information so you can recruit others to pray, fast and stand witness with us for the end to abortion and the Culture of Death.
Final Rally :
Note change in supper time from 4 to 5 PM.
Prayer will still be led outside Options at 3 PM for those who wish to participate, but we will also attend Vespers and Benediction at 4:00 in St. James. At 5:00 we'll have a delicious soup & chili supper in Murphy Hall (the basement of St. James, just down the street from Options). Come and get to know the pro-life community in our area. Be a part of the movement to end abortion.

2. When you receive the confirmation email, click on the link within the email to verify your new account.
3. Return to the vigil schedule page to log in and sign up for hours.
