The La Puente Family Planning Medical Clinic has closed for good!
Dear Prayer Warrior’s,
Because, of your presence and ALL the prayer that has taken place outside the abortion clinic in La Puente site of the 40 Days for Life campaign . . .
… the local abortion business has been affected PERMANENTLY!
Back in the spring of 2009
- The tragedy of abortion was real, it was seen on a regular basis
- During the 1st campaign 5 babies were saved from abortion
- During the following campaigns we noticed the abortion business was slowing down
- Set abortion days were often moved to weak days of vigil presence
- There were no longer set abortion days
- Staff arrived later in the day and were seen leaving earlier and earlier
- Near the end of the recent spring campaign a young couple waited 1.5 hours, but no one from the abortion office showed up. Praise God!! The young mom was a little frustrated, but left with helpful literature in her hand.
This past week
· A truck was parked in front of the abortion center and was seen moving equipment out.
· I called to make an appointment for Friday which is July 1st to see if they would refer me to another location, but they insisted I come in on Wednesday. Wednesday was the only and last day abortions were scheduled.
· By the way, I just asked if they had an opening for an appointment on Friday. After they insisted I come on Wed. Worker stated that it is $400 for surgical and $470 for medical. I never mentioned abortion. So again never mind the "other" services they say they offer.
· I also spoke with the manager to ask about a forwarding address. He stated the abortion owners told him they were going out of business. In a previous conversation with the manager he stated that he and doctors were unhappy having the abortion clinic as a neighbor. He also stated the abortion clinic was having many problems and their business "went under” and are not in a position to continue with a business".
What a great blessing God has provided by stopping abortions here in La Puente.

Cumberland, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church- La Puente, for allowing me to bring the 40 Days for Life campaign to our parish and community and to all of you who participated in the La Puente 40 Days for Life campaign, especially those of you who’ve taken time to stand and pray at other times of the year
