While I was there a couple of young women drove into the clinic and one returned to the street and asked what we were doing to which I replied that we were praying for the unborn children and she then asked who we were and I said we were Catholics from local Churches and we were committed to forty days of prayer to help mothers in their time of need. She said she was going to the clinic because her people said it was what she needed to do but she was not so sure. I told her about the Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center across the street and that it was free and could help her find other options. She returned to the abortion clinic and soon after they drove across the street and went inside. After about twenty minutes they came back out to their car and drove out and turned left and stopped beside me and a woman with me and told me thank you for talking with her and said she thought killing her baby would be murder and I said that I would have to agree and she then said she was unsure as to what she was going to do but she sure was not going to the abortion clinic. They then drove down the street and turned around and came back by and told us all God Bless as they drove by to leave. Praise Be To God. (Friday, March 6th)

I started my day over at Office Park Drive with a wonderful group of prayer volunteers from St. Jude's. Our beloved sidewalk counselor was there providing sidewalk counseling. I heard her gently call out to someone in the abortion center's parking lot, and then a young girl came to the fence to talk to the sidewalk counselor. They walked across the street and talked. After a while, the girl went back to the abortion center. The girl 13, and her mother was insisting on the abortion. The sidewalk counselor asked the girl to see if her Mother would come and talk to her. In a few minutes, while all of us lifted them up in prayer, the Mother and the daughter came over to the sidewalk counselor, and she talked to them for some time. After they finished talking, the girl and her mother went and got in their car and left. The sidewalk counselor said they were a "turn around." Praise God! This young girl had a definite appointment to abort her unborn child, and that appointment was not kept as a result of people taking time out of their lives to be prayerful Christian witnesses to those most in need. A girl was entering the parking lot in a car with her Mother and her 2 year old daughter. She was there for an abortion. The Security Guard told the Mother that the young child would not be able to come in, so the Mother had to leave. As she was leaving, our sidewalk counselor took the opportunity to talk to the Mother. The Mother shared with her their concerns about being able to afford to raise another child. The sidewalk counselor talked to her about the resources available next door at our Crisis Pregnancy Center and about what her daughter would be going through in the abortion clinic and after the abortion. She encouraged the Mother to call her daughter and see if she could get her to leave. The Mother drove away.About an hour later she returned and said that her daughter changed her mind and she was there to get her.So she pulled into the parking lot and went and got her daughter out of the clinic. The sidewalk counselor then went with them over to our crisis pregnancy center. She spent time with them assuring them of support from the Center. She said the daughter was incredibly happy with her decision to keep her baby. She is due in November. A very young girl and her Mother arrived at the clinic. It was obvious that the girl did not want to get out of the car, and her Mother was being very firm with her about getting out of the car and going into the clinic. Our side-walk counselor began to talk to the young girl about being under-age and about her Mother not being able to force an underage girl, even her own daughter, to have an abortion against her wishes. When they were showing the security guard the girl’s identification, the side-walk counselor continued to talk to her about being underage, even if an i.d. falsely stated her age, and no one being able to force her to have an abortion.Although all the words that were said could not be heard, it was obvious that the young girl continued to indicate that she did not want to go in.The next thing the side-walk counselor and prayer volunteers saw was a very angry and scolding mother take her daughter to their car and LEAVE.Praise God! This morning a couple pulled into the abortion clinic, went inside and after some time came out and left. As they left, they rolled down their window to let the prayer partners know that "they had a change of heart". Praise God for this! May we continue to pray for this couple and their little baby. Also, that God would place someone in their lives to help them continue with this change of heart.(Friday, April 27th)

A Hispanic man and woman, with TN license plates, arrived at the clinic and seeing that they spoke Spanish, I addressed them in Spanish. They were surprised and therefore listened to my plea and information on abortion. The guard was not pleased that they were listening to me and kept trying to get them to understand how to park the car, what they needed to bring with them, no purse, ID, and payment only. I translated what he was telling them and inserted my comments. I begged them not to go through with it, and told them that they would not clearly understand what the workers inside would want of them. They went in anyway.30-40 minutes later they came out! I approached them as they were driving out, and asked if I could give them information on post abortion. The woman smiled, and said that she had not gone through with it.Her husband told me that they did not feel comfortable inside. He did not like the manner that they had treated his wife. They asked me for my name and telephone #, and I gave them a St. Joseph’s Helpers (CPC) pamphlet and my cell number. She was 11-14 weeks pregnant. (Saturday, April 28th)
