Life In The Womb
Week 1 - An embryo, I seek nourishment in womb
Week 3 - My heart begins to beat
Week 6 - My skeleton forms, liver makes blood cells
Week 7 - My brain waves can be detected
Week 8 - I now have fingerprints
Week 10 - I’m sensitive to touch, I squint & swallow
Week 11 - Now 3 inches long, I do somersaults
Week 12 - I practice breathing, all systems working
Month 4 - My heart pumps 6 gals. of blood a day
Month 5 - I react to outside noises; mom feels me
Month 6 - Fine hair is on my head; I weigh 2 lbs.
Month 7 - I recognize my mother's voice
Month 8 - My weight increases another 2 pounds
