Intention:
Pray that the witness of 40 Days for Life bears abundant fruit, and that we begin again each day to storm the gates of hell until God welcomes us into the gates of heaven.

This fall, from September 23 - November 1, our community will be one of 212 cities across the country participating in the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history -- the 40 Days for Life campaign.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

  • 40 days of prayer and fasting
  • 40 days of peaceful vigil
  • 40 days of community outreach

We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America.

Take a stand for life

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside our local abortion facility.

You can help make a life-saving impact by joining our local vigil at:

There is metered street parking at and around the vigil site (2nd and Market)  There are parking garages within walking distance.  The area is well lit by street lights.  To sign up for hours, click on VIGIL Schedule in the tool bar and follow the easy directions!

Catholic pro-lifers are encouraged to attend this Nov. 12 meeting with Archbishop Kurtz. He will be discussing his work with the USCCB, specifically as it relates to Marriage and the Family and the Diocesan Pro-Life plan. His presentation will be followed by Q&A.
