Fall campaign September 25 - November 4, 2009 If you are interested in helping to bring a 40 Days for Life Campaign to Louisville this fall, please email Jenny at jhutch1216@aol.com. If we are going to have a campaign, we will need day captains to help us keep our vigil hours covered. This isn't hard, but does require some time and effort. If you would like to help in any capacity at all, please let Jenny know!! The following information is from the 2008 campaign - left so interested parties can get an idea of what the campaign entailed. This fall, from September 24 - November 2, our community will be one of more than 177 cities in 45 states joining together for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history -- the 40 Days for Life campaign. 40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of: We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America. Take a stand for life While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside our local abortion facility. You can help make a life-saving impact by joining our local vigil at: There is metered street parking at and around the vigil site (2nd and Market) There are parking garages within walking distance. The area is well lit by street lights.
