Right now, we just completed our Lenten Campaign for Life from February 6 - March 16.  Our Main Line Coalition community was one of 59 cities in 31 states joining together for one of the largest simultaneous pro-life mobilizations in history -- the national 40 Days for Life campaign.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

• 40 days of prayer and fasting
• 40 days of 24 hour peaceful vigil
• 40 days of community outreach

We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city and throughout America.

Take a stand for life

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion facility, Bryn Mawr Hospital.

See our Breaking News Photos with as we were filmed on February 9th and 10th by the French Dominican TV Company, "Le Jour du Seigneur" in advance of the Pope's visit to America.  They will feature our Main Line "40 Days for Life" 2 weeks before the Pope's arrival on France 2 Channel.  The exact date  to be announced. See David Bereit, our National Director being interviewed as 50 mph gusts of wind nearly blew us away.  Our faithful as we did a March of Jericho around Bryn Mawr Hospital.  You can almost feel the cold, hear the wind blowing.

Details:  The landmarks for Bryn Mawr Hospital are: Bryn Mawr Avenue on the East (off Rte 30), and Haverford Road on the South.
