ABOUT VIGIL SIGNUPS:
Our 40 Days For Life goal is to galvanize as many people as possible from Ocala and adjacent areas to witness for Life - throughout a period of 40 days, in round-the-clock, peaceful, prayerful vigil in front of the local abortion facility, Ocala Women's Center. We will pray and stand united to be Ocala's voice for the unborn children, to add our prayers with those throughout the country in a unified cry to God to bring an end to the holocaust of our time - the killing of babies growing in their mothers' wombs.
Abortion is the problem and, together, we are going to be part of the solution. The abortion facility is a place where lives are terminated, mothers left to prolonged, heartfelt pain. Post-abortive women often come to stand vigil themselves; they regret having once made a decision for abortion and know well of those additional disastrous emotional and psychological effects experienced by post-abortive women and their families.
50 million unborn babies have been killed since Roe vs. Wade . . . 50 million. One child denied the right to live is unconscionable; 50 million is diabolical.
President Reagan once said, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall." Come stand and pray with us as we call out to God to tear down the killing machine that is abortion in this country. Scripture tells us (Isaiah 25:8): He shall cast death down headlong for ever: and the Lord God shall wipe away tears from every face, and the reproach of his people he shall take away from off the whole earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
Trust in Him; with God, ALL things are possible.
