40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

• 40 days of prayer and fasting

• 40 days of peaceful vigil

• 40 days of community outreach

We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in Raleigh and throughout America.

Taking a stand for life

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside of a local abortion facility.

In Raleigh there are 3 abortion facilities located within 7 miles of each other. All of the facilities are open 6 days a week. Over 9546 abortions were performed in 2007  in Wake County.

This fall we will stand and pray outside the abortion facility from 7am-7pm beginning September 23 and ending at 7pm November 1st.at:

The vigil is always peaceful and prayerful. All participants agree to abide by the "Statement of Peace" with a pledge that they will conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner.
