40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

• 40 days of prayer and fasting
• 40 days of constant vigil
• 40 days of community outreach

Lives Saved and Clinics Closed

2811 babies were saved from abortion nationwide through the Spring 2010 campaign, confirmed by the mothers' expressed change of intention not to abort but to have her baby. But this is the tip of the iceberg, as clinics across the country are reducing their hours of operation, due to lack of clientele.   Moreover, 6 abortion clinics that were 40 Days for Life vigil sites have been permanently closed and 35 abortion industry workers have told us they left their positions because of our efforts.   Prayer, education, and compassion are the key. 

We have seen thousands of church congregations participate in the effort and over 800 media pieces covering our efforts nationwide have brought the issue of abortion into the public awareness.   It is through this that we are beginning to wake up American's to the horror that is abortion.
