40 Days for Life VIGIL

 

Before viewing or registering to participate in the vigil, we ask that you commit to our Statement of Peace.   This is a peaceful, prayerful and lawful campaign as we come together to Pray to End Abortion.

Statement of Peace

I agree to abide by the following: 

    • I will only pursue peaceful solutions to the violence of abortion when volunteering with the 40 Days for Life campaign
    • I will show compassion and reflect Christ’s love to all abortion facility employees, volunteers, and customers
    • I understand that acting in a violent or harmful manner immediately and completely disassociates me from the 40 Days for Life campaign
    • I am in no way associated with Planned Parenthood, the West End Abortion Site, Tahoe Women's Care or their affiliates by way of employment, informant, volunteer, current client, or otherwise

While standing in the city right of way in front of the West End Abortion Site, located at 5915 Tyrone Rd, Reno, NV, standing in the city right of way outside the complex in which Tahoe Women's Care is located at 973 Mica Dr, Carson City or in front of Planned Parenthood at 1201 N. Stewart St, Carson City NV:

  • I will NOT touch the fence at the front of the West End Abortion site, enter the private business park in which Tahoe Women’s Care does business nor go onto the property of the strip mall where Planned Parenthood has their facility.
  • I will not obstruct the driveways or sidewalk while standing in the public right of way, nor will I block the normal flow of car or foot traffic.
  • I will not litter on the public right of way.
  • I will closely attend to any children I bring to the prayer vigil
  • I will not threaten, physically contact, or verbally abuseWest End Women’s Medical Group, Planned Parenthood or Tahoe Women’s Care employees, volunteers, or customers.
  • I will not vandalize private property
  • I will cooperate with local city and county authorities as well as the FBI
  • I understand that if I do not abide by this code of conduct, that I have disassociated myself with the 40 Days for Life Campaign.
