Utah Campaign For Canon 915 Enforcement
The pro-homosexualist & pro-abortion Utah Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Peter Corroon, putative Catholic, marches in 
the Salt Lake City "gay pride" parade Sunday with Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker.
A Catholic quite close to Bishop Wester, Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon, is such an enthusiastic advocate for Planned Parenthood and Equality Utah that the Mayor was recognised as Equality Utah's 2007 Ally for Equality without so much as a murmur of dissent or clarification from the bishop or the diocese articulating the unequivocal Catholic teaching about homosexual "rights", same-sex unions, or the duties of Catholic politicians not to support any policy that attacks human life or the integrity of the natural family.
Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon accepts award as a 2007 Ally for Equality. Corroon made a very emotional speech, during which he had to pause many times, thanking the gay community for the award.
Mayor Peter Corroon accepts this 2008 Knights of Columbus 4th Degree award "for exemplary service to his God and Country. Also for his outstanding leadership to the people of the County and his service to the Knights of Columbus."
While he claims to be a devout Catholic, his expressed support for certain organisations offers prima facia evidence this "exemplary public servant" can't seem to tell the difference between serving the public and killing the public. He masks the violence of abortion with the smooth language of "choice," and refuses to protect the victims.
This is the latest in a long line of honours the Utah Knights of Columbus have bestowed on our Mayor as he advances an anti-life and anti-family agenda in direct contradiction to the stated policy of Supreme Council.
Inscribed on the award is a moving tribute to the importance of soldiers for the preservation of our constitutional guarantees of freedom and liberty. It seems odd for this tribute to be associated with a public official who responds to constituents exercising their freedom of expression to petition the government to redress grievances by forwarding the correspondence to his henchmen in the county's law enforcement agency as a vindictive attempt to transform the just use of the county sheriff into a Stasi-like apparatus to silence his opponents and insulate himself from any criticism and the consequences of his actions or policies.
