You are invited to join us for any one of 4 prayer vigils every Tuesday through Friday in front of the Schenectady Planned Parenthood. See the Events Schedule on the right side of this page for the times.

From September 22 - October 31, our community will be one of many joining together for a faith-filled, groundbreaking, coordinated pro-life mobilization -- 40 Days for Life.
40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

40 days of prayer and fasting

40 days of peaceful vigil
-
40 days of community outreach
We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America.

Take a stand for life
While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion (or Planned Parenthood) facility.

PARKING:
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Christ Church for allowing us to use their State St. parking lot (corner of State and Swan).
Parking is also available across the street by the cemetery or on side streets.
Please do not park in the Planned Parenthood parking lot.

The former director of a Texas Planned Parenthood, Abby Johnson, who now prays w/ 40 Days for Life volunteers at her old place of employment said,
"Christians ask, 'Well why can't I pray from home?' That's what the clinic workers ask too, 'Why don't you pray from home and leave us alone?"
