WELCOME TO THE SHARONVILLE 40 DAYS FOR LIFE HOMEPAGE! PLEASE CLICK "VIGIL SCHEDULE" ABOVE TO SIGN UP FOR VIGIL HOURS.
YOU can help save lives!
This Spring, from Wednesday, February 13 - Sunday, March 24, our community will be one of many cities joining together for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history -- the 40 Days for Life campaign.
40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:
-
40 days of prayer and fasting
-
40 days of peaceful vigil
-
40 days of community outreach
We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America.
Take a stand for life
While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion facility.
The vigil hours are in 1/2 hour segments from 7:00am - 7:00pm.
Special thanks to the following Churches:
St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Michael, St. Susanna, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
These churches have "adopted" certain blocks of time for prayer
If your Church would like to commit to a certain block of time,
please contact Mary Jo Suer at 513-378-4262 or maryjo.suer@gmail.com

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I sign up to pray?
Click the "vigil schedule" link at the top of this page. New users sign in with login and basic personal information. A reminder will be emailed to you 24 hours before your shift. All prayer volunteers must agree to a "statement of peace."
Why should I sign up on the website to pray?
By signing up on the website, others will know what shifts are open and still need to be filled.
Are there dates or times when the need is the greatest?
Yes, we are in need of people on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Why should my Church "adopt" a block of time for prayer?
This is very helpful in filling all of the vigil hours. If possible, Church members are asked to sign up within that time block. However, you are welcome to sign up for any hours that fit your schedule.
What do I do at the vigil?
Read Scriptures, pray the rosary or pray in any way meaningful to you. Be a witness to the Gospel of Life to those entering the abortion mill and the many, many driving by.
Are posters available?
Yes, posters are available at the site for you to hold, should you desire this. Only family friendly, non-graphic signs are permitted to be displayed during this prayer campaign.
