The Spring 40 Days for Life campaign will start on February 22, 2012 (Ash Wednesday) and run until April 1, 2012 (Palm Sunday).
The KICKOFF for the Tri-County (Wayne/Oakland/Macomb) 40 Days for Life Campaigns will be at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Holy Mass celebrated by Bishop Michael Byrnes, followed by a Rally and Fellowship on February 19. This Kickoff is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council #8118. Click here for Spring 2012 Kickoff flyer to share with your pastor and faith community. Please check back for more information as we get closer to the date.
The Spring 2012 Vigil Calendar is up and running. Sign up early and often and encourage your church to Adopt-a-day. In the meantime, please keep praying for the babies, their moms, the abortion staff and the apathetic public. Dallas pro-lifers helped 819 abortion-minded moms choose life for their babies in 2011. Since 1997, 8 abortion centers in Dallas closed their doors, with 5 remaining. Dallas is doing it; we can do it, too and reduce the demand for abortion in metro Detroit.
What is 40 Days for Life?
It is a prayerful, peaceful public witness of God's Love as the alternative to the despair of abortion.
The cornerstone of the campaign is prayerful witness at the local abortion center, Womancare of Southfield.
We have two 40 day long campaigns each year. We will start the Spring 2012 campaign
on February 22, 2012 and will continue through April 1.
But you do not have to wait until a 40 Days for Life campaign in order to pray for the Unborn at the places where they lose their lives. You can come out today.
Come Pray with us today at Womancare of Southfield
28505 Southfield Rd.
Southfield, MI 48076
1/4 mile South of 12 Mile Rd on the
West side of Southfield Rd.
Come out today and say a prayer for the babies, their parents and the staff. Pray for our Nation that we come to realize the Truth - that our children are blessings, not burdens.
At 4:30 p.m. each Saturday, we have a Memorial service for the victims who died at Womancare and other abortion centers during the past week.
Please join us.

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion facility.
