40 Days for Life campaign wrap-up for spring 2009
The most recent coordinated 40 Days for Life campaign was conducted in 137 communities — 129 in the United States, five in Canada, two in Northern Ireland and one in Australia. In all, more than 41,000 people participated — and 433 lives were spared from abortion.

Richmond 40 Days for Life team promises to keep going

The 40 Days for Life team in Richmond, Virginia is already making plans for the fall campaign from September 23 – November 1. The group is also committed to prayer at the abortion center at least two days a week between now and the start of that campaign. |
The Lenten season gave the group ample time to reflect on Christ's sufferings, and prayer vigils frequently touched on the gospel narratives related to the passion. Volunteers used chalk to mark prayer stations on the sidewalk in front of the abortion facility, as they stopped at each point to pray, sing and read scripture.

Five Canadian cities hosted this year's first 40 Days for Life – Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Edmonton.
