- PRAY FOR AN END TO ABORTION AND A CONVERSION OF HEARTS!!!
- Spiritually adopt an unborn child. (Pray for 9 months for this unknown child.)
- Encourage your priest or pastor to preach about abortion.
- Vote for Pro-Life politicians only.
- Visit www.prolifeconnection.com for pro-life links as well as events that are happening in the local area. (Have a friend check for you occasionally if you aren't computer literate.)
- Give peaceful witness at an abortion clinic. Helpers of God's Precious Infants does this on a regular basis. (Contact Mary Kay at 419 878-0486, or visit www.helpers-nwo.org)
- Volunteer at a local Crisis Pregnancy Center (Heartbeat, Pregnancy Center of Greater Toledo, Bowling Green Pregnancy Center), Foundation for Life, or other Pro-Life organization.
- Commit to a weekly hour in prayer at an Adoration chapel, praying for conversion of hearts. (St. Joseph Maumee, Blessed Sacrament Toledo)
- Write letters to your congressmen, both state and federal, on legislation concerning life issues.
- Write letters to the editor about life issues.
- Educate yourself. Subscribe to Pro-Life newsletters and read Pro-Life books.
- Arrange for a Pro-Life speaker to do a presentation at your church or civic group.
- Join in the March for Life or stand in a Life Chain. Spread the Pro-Life message to others through literature. Leave it in waiting rooms, restrooms, lobbies, airports, laundromats, library books, etc.
- Wear a Precious Feet or Precious Hands pin every day. People will see the pin and ask you about it and this will give you the perfect opportunity for you to speak up for the humanity of the unborn.
- Find out the name of an abortionist in your town and pray daily for his/her change of heart. Pray for the abortion workers, too!
- Put Pro-Life stickers on ALL outgoing mail.
- Include a piece of literature in ALL bills you pay and letters you send.
- Put a Pro-Life bumper sticker or cling on your car(s).
- Purchase a video and literature on abortion and offer to show it at church youth groups and other gatherings. Pass out literature on how to get involved afterwards.
- If you know any Pro-Life teenagers, provide them with literature to share at school.
- Investigate your school district's sex education programs. If it is pro-abortion or pro-sex request permission to show the other side.
- Use Pro-Life checks. (Contact Promise Checks, 1-800-977-6647)
- Go to yard sales and buy baby clothes and maternity clothes and donate them to your local Pregnancy Resource Center.
- Plan a Pro-Life Sunday at your church. Have literature and "Precious Feet" available.
- Start a Respect Life group at your church.
- Surround yourself with like minded friends and start a phone chain for acting on upcoming legislation.
- If you have a service that a Pro-Life group could use, donate your service to them. For example, if you run a printing company, offer to print Pro-Life literature for free or cost only.
- Offer to baby-sit for a single parent or parents of a handicapped child.
- Talk with friends. You can educate your friends who are confused or undecided about the abortion issue. Most people are unaware of the facts.
- Financially support one of the many worthy Pro-Life groups and centers.
