40 Days for Life Twin Cities winter 2008 has ended . Thank you, for a successful season of prayer and fasting.
This has been a blessed 40 Days of prayer, fasting, unity in the body of Christ, fellowship and sharing the truth in love about the abortions taking place at HealthPartners' Regions Hospital. There is good news! Staff members of Regions Hospital are speaking up and asking management to close the abortuary! Dr. Robert Morgan a surgeon at Regions, has gone public asking his employer to close its' abortuary! HealthPartners continues to change their story, justifying operating their abortuary as the prayers of the body of Christ have more effect, day, after, day. Is this the end? NO. The abortions are still being performed. God has already told us to not be weary in well doing, and in due season we shall reap the promises He has in store for us. Many have already expressed the desire to continue to pray and be a witness, in front of HealthPartners' Regions Hospital through the spring and summer. We have heard you! 40 Days for Life will continue during the summer on Saturdays only, starting May 17 and ending August 16., from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. The location for the 40 Days for Life Twin Cities is HealthPartners' Regions Hospital. Why? We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion at HealthPartners' Regions Hospital, other abortion facilities in the Twin Cities area and throughout America. HealthPartners' Regions Hospital 640 Jackson Street, Saint Paul MN 55101 PARKING: Parking on the street across from the main entrance to Regions Hospital is allowed only from 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Mon. -Fri, and all day Saturday-Sunday. You may park up the hill on Jackson Street past University Ave. You may park there from 2 - 3 hours. Check the signs for the amount of time you may park. What can I do if I cannot come to the hospital? Call in your prayer times and dates and we'll put you on the prayer schedule. This campaign is about prayer and fasting so everyone can participate on the street, at home , or at church. CONTINUE TO SPREAD THE WORD!!! Please call in your vigil and prayer times to: Brian Walker 651-771-1500 ext 211 or brian.walker@plam.org . Calling in is very important to track hours toward the 24/7/40 goal and coordinate vigil times, so two or more can be at the hospital at all times. At night the area in front of the hospital is well lit and patrolled. The chief of security at HealthPartners' Regions hospital has been very cooperative and is aware that we are on the sidewalks. Your presence can save lives. While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible and powerful component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion facility.
