YOU can help save lives! Recognizing that “with God all things are possible,” people of faith are praying that this effort will help bring an end to the tragedy of abortion. 40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign that has already mobilized over 500,000 people worldwide, saved more than 5,000 lives from abortion, led to the conversion of 61 abortion workers, and seen 19 abortion facilities close. The 40 Days for Life campaign consists of: We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in Vancouver -- and throughout Canada. Take a stand for life While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful 24-hour prayer vigil outside an abortion facility. In thanksgiving for the Fall 2012 campaign, the Annual Pro-Life Mass & 40 Days for Life closing celebrations will be on Saturday December 1st 2012 at Holy Rosary Cathedral (646 Richards Street, Vancouver) at 7PM. Rosary will be prayed at 6:30pm. Reception to follow in church basement. For the Fall 2012 campaign, Vancouver is hosting the 40 Days for Life Opening Mass and Kick-off Reception on Monday September 24, 2012 at Holy Name Parish (Cambie & 33rd, Vancouver, BC) at 7PM. All Parish/Group Representatives are invited to attend the General Representative Meeting (Information Session) on Thursday September 6, 2012 at Holy Family Parish (4851 Beatrice Street, Vancouver) at 7PM. As a Parish/Group Representative this meeting will assist you in understanding your role in your parish/group to assist in the Fall 2012 40 Days for Life campaign. News
