From September 22 - October 31, our community will be one of many joining together for a faith-filled, groundbreaking, coordinated pro-life mobilization -- 40 Days for Life.
40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

40 days of prayer and fasting

40 days of peaceful vigil

40 days of community outreach
We are having a Prayer Siege this Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in front of the Newtown Rd. Planned Parenthood. A former Hampton Roads resident from Silent No More (http://www.silentnomoreawareness.org) is coming to give her testimony about being raped and then spending 20 + years in silent regret and shame at having succumbed to an abortion at Hillcrest. Please join us for this event, and please spread the word to your family and friends.
We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America.
Take a stand for life
While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion (or Planned Parenthood) facility.
