HOME: Welcome to 40 Days for Life

Our Spring 2013 Campaign:
February 13th - March 23rd at FPHS in Wausau.

YOU can help save lives!

From February 13th to March 23rd, our community will be one of many from coast to coast joining together for the most dynamic coordinated pro-life mobilization in history -- 40 Days for Life.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

  • 40 days of prayer and fasting
  • 40 days of peaceful vigil
  • 40 days of community outreach

We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America.

You can help make a life-saving impact by joining our local vigil:

Monday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Take a stand for life

While all aspects of the 40 Days for Life campaign (prayer, fasting, and education) are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component in Wausau is the peaceful prayer vigil outside Family Planning Health Services.

We selected this site (FPHS) because:

1. FPHS provides contact numbers for abortion facilities upon request.

2. FPHS provides contraception and barrier methods to minors, with or without parental consent (paid for by our tax dollars). Several forms of contraception act as abortifacients, which means that pregnancy can occur but the newly conceived life is unable to thrive in the uterus and is aborted.

3. By providing contraception and barrier methods, FPHS promotes the contraceptive mentality which is a root cause of abortion. No form of contraception is 100% effective, thus women (including minors) can still experience pregnancy and/or contract sexually transmitted diseases.

4. FPHS advocates for comprehensive sex education in schools, which denies parental authority and encourages minors to engage in criminal behavior (having underage sex).
