40 DAYS of prayer, fasting & peaceful vigil. You can help save lives!

From SEPTEMBER 25 - NOVEMBER 3, 2013, our community will be one of more than 400 cities joining together for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history -- the 40 Days for Life campaign. We pray that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in Wilmington, DE.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort of:

• 40 days of fasting and prayer
• 40 days of community outreach
• 40 days of presence at an abortion clinic

The most visible component of our effort to end abortion
is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion facility. 

You can stand for life and make a life-saving impact by
joining our local vigil at:

More than 40 churches, schools and organizations have been
invited to sponsor one day of the 40-day vigil. If your church
would like to spend time in prayer with us, give the Leadership

STATEMENT OF Peace

All 40 Days for Life vigilers agree to abide by this statement.
If you agree, download the Statement of Peace (see end
of document) and bring it with you on your vigil day.
We will have statements on site also.

• I will only pursue peaceful solutions to the
  violence of abortion when volunteering with the
  40 Days for Life campaign
• I will show compassion & reflect Christ’s
  love to all Planned Parenthood
  employees, volunteers,& customers
• I understand that acting in a violent or
  harmful manner immediately & completely
  disassociates me from the 40 Days for Life
  campaign
• I am in no way associated with Planned
  Parenthood or its affiliates by way of
  employment, informant, volunteer, client, or
  otherwise.

While standing in the city right of way in front of
(abortion facility or Planned Parenthood location):

• I will not obstruct the driveways or
  sidewalk while standing in the public right
  of way
• I will not litter on the public right of way
• I will closely attend to any children I
  bring to the prayer vigil
• I will not threaten, physically contact,
  or verbally abuse abortion facility or
  Planned Parenthood employees, volunteers,
  or customers
• I will not vandalize private property
• I will cooperate with local city authorities
