Important Information Regarding 40 Days for Life
Thank you for your pro-life commitment to praying at the Garden of Hope in Tulsa. Your faith-filled testimony to the sanctity of life has the power, by God's generous grace, to change minds, open hearts and save lives!
Below you will find information on what procedures are in place regarding COVID-19, what amenities you can expect to find at the Garden of Hope, and what to bring.
Those who gather for the Opening Rally on September 23 and who come to the Garden to pray are asked to follow the guidelines of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma and the ordinances of the City of Tulsa regarding COVID-19, as applicable.*
Here is a summary of how these guidelines apply to 40 Days for Life:
Practice social distancing
Please bring a mask/face covering to have with you.
Masks are to be worn outdoors when social distancing cannot be maintained.
Please bring your own prayer materials, hand sanitizer, etc.
Please be aware of your health and stay home if you or those in your household are feeling ill, experiencing symptoms like those of COVID-19, or if you have temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher.
Amenities at the Garden:
- Fenced play area for little ones.
- Gazebo for shade/shelter
- Parking spots
- Sign-in sheet and prayer materials – thank you for signing in!
- 40 days for life signs
- Security number to call late at night or as needed
What to bring:
- Dress for the weather
- sunscreen, as needed
- hand sanitizer
- prayer materials if desired (many individuals pray silently on their own, but groups may also gather for vocal/sung prayer)
