"Lots of people prayed long and hard during this campaign," said Ron, the 40 Days for Life leader in Attleboro, "and our prayers were answered."

On Day 39 of 40 Days for Life, he learned a baby was saved ? the first of this campaign.

"A young woman was brought to the clinic early on Saturday by her mother," he said, "and at the time we had a wonderfully large group praying in the park across from the entrance from the clinic."

After seeing all the prayer volunteers and large "pray to end abortion" signs, the conflicted young woman had an emotional change of heart and left the abortion facility.

"On the way out," said Ron, "they stopped to talk to a counselor to confirm her decision amidst copious tears of joy."
