?We are very excited about our 15th 40 Days for Life vigil!? said Kathy, who has helped lead every one of those campaigns.

At the opening rally, she shared ?some of the amazing things God has done in Columbia.?

When the vigils started seven years ago, Planned Parenthood was aborting 800 babies every year. The prayer volunteers watched as the numbers went down ? and Planned Parenthood was unable to keep an abortionist. Seven different practitioners came and went during the first three years of vigils.

For three years, they couldn?t find anyone to do abortions ? and none were performed during that time. Abortions resumed in August of last year ? but then stopped again in November.

?It has been?ten months since abortions were done in Columbia,? Kathy said.??Their business is way down.? The staff has been cut in half, and the manager?s job is now being advertised.

?How much longer, Lord?? Kathy asked.? ?We are faithful; God is successful. Our motto for this campaign is courage ? have faith!?
