While visiting with volunteers at a rally in Eureka, 40 Days for Life?s Steve Karlen learned this campaign is built on strong leadership from a variety of Christian faith communities.

The leaders told Steve that Planned Parenthood in Eureka is losing money. As a result, its parent group had to merge with another Planned Parenthood affiliate.

?One of the people I met said his involvement in 40 Days for Life opened up a door for him to talk with a pregnant niece,? Steve said. ?He encouraged her to choose life ? and she did!?
