A new 40 Days for Life team in Farmington is ready to go!

Originally, there hadn't been a vigil scheduled in Farmington ... because Planned Parenthood had decided that its abortion referral center would shut down this month.

But then after the abortion giant announced the closure, some deep-pocketed donors bailed it out. The office, Planned Parenthood trumpeted, would remain open.

40 Days for Life supporters in New Mexico were not going to take that news sitting down ? and they immediately went out and started planning their local vigil.

The campaign kicked off on a cold, rainy day. "We had about 60 people in attendance," said Sarah in Farmington. "It was a great event. A Catholic priest, a Baptist pastor, and two New Mexico state representatives all spoke."
