"Cold weather ? it's not just for northern campaigns!"

Steve Karlen, 40 Days for Life's North American campaign director, was on hand for "the strongest kickoff event in Little Rock in years." By the end of the kickoff, Steve said it was rainy and in the 30s.

A teenage praise and worship group provided music ... and a Catholic priest and Protestant pastor offered prayer as Little Rock's 13th campaign got rolling.

"This group prays throughout the year," Steve said. "On Friday, four mothers chose life ? two of them already had money down for their appointments. This news was shared at the rally as encouragement for people to come out and make a difference during the campaign."
