Two governors have recently reminded our country that abortion is straight from Hell.
Last week, New York shocked the world by legalizing third-trimester abortion and eliminating protections for children born alive after surviving an abortion. To anyone with any sanity, this is called infanticide.
Rhode Island and Virginia are now looking to do the same. This week, Virginia Del. Kathy Tran presented a bill that would legalize abortion--even as the mother is in labor!
But it gets even worse. Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam went even further, saying the bill would allow a mother and doctor to kill a newborn child even AFTER delivery (see video at 40:02):
?So in this particular example if a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen, the infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that?s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.?
Contrast the depravity of pro-abortion politicians with the selflessness of young people, who are more pro-life than their parents and grandparents. College students are making heroic sacrifices to protect their peers--and their communities--from the abortion industry.
Last year, we established the 4040 Scholarship to equip and empower young people who are ending abortion where they live. At Saturday's Walk for Life West Coast, we presented the $4,040 college scholarship to TWO young women who are living their pro-life convictions on campus:

- Morgan English is a second-year accounting major from the University of Florida and the leader of the 40 Days for Life campaign in Gainesville.
- Anna Green is a junior majoring in biology at the University of Idaho and she leads the 40 Days for Life campaign in nearby Pullman, Washington.
It's never too early to apply for the 2020 4040 Scholarship. Visit 40daysforlife.com/scholarship for more information.
EWTN also introduced the world to our new director of outreach, Sue Thayer. Sue managed an Iowa Planned Parenthood facility for nearly two decades...
...before she led the 40 Days for Life campaign that helped CLOSE her former workplace!

The Walk for Life and March for Life are done for 2019, but that doesn't mean our work is finished. Far from it!
The largest Lenten 40 Days for Life campaign in history begins on March 6. Find your local campaign and sign up to pray for an end to abortion.
And thank you to both the Walk for Life West Coast and EWTN for showcasing our scholarship winners and Sue Thayer!
