Saving a baby from abortion is a beautiful moment only God can grant.
That moment is not free.
Over the years, we've worked closely with the many good men and women serving our country in the DOJ and FBI. They love our country and have helped protect our faithful prayer volunteers.
In the past, they've had Planned Parenthood executives tell them that peaceful prayer volunteers are dangerous and demanded that federal law enforcement "get rid of 40 Days for Life."
The FBI ignored these absurd demands…until now.
What changed? The overturning of Roe v. Wade. 40 Days for Life is closing abortion facilities, and the only way to get rid of 40 Days for Life is to get rid of free speech.
I won't sugarcoat it: We continue to be harassed by FBI inquiries across the country with 1-2 inquiries per week. We've also seen our 40 Days for Life volunteer, Mark Houck, have his house raided at gunpoint by the FBI, an action the FBI absurdly continues to defend...despite a jury deliberating for less than an hour before Mark handed the FBI an embarrassing loss.
We represented Mark from the start of his case and continue to do so. With the increased persecution, we've had many talented attorneys--including many from the DOJ--approach us about helping us fight back to defend our rights against the weaponization of the FBI.
We've decided to go on offense by launching a legal arm--the Institute of Law & Justice--to protect our mission and defend prayer volunteers with the most professional attorneys.
Longtime general counsel, former corporate litigator, and four-term elected prosecutor Matt Britton has assembled a professional team of lawyers with vast experience trying thousands of cases and hundreds of jury trials with proven results: winning.
Please consider a tax-deductible gift as we defend free speech and close abortion facilities in a post-Roe America:
We cannot sit by and accept the bigotry of our DOJ toward Christian prayer volunteers who are saving lives and helping women every day.
The first two cases of the Institute of Law & Justice involve free speech:
- New York: Westchester County has passed a "buffer zone" to ban pro-life Americans within up to 100 feet of the abortion facility. We filed a lawsuit, which we expect to win at the Supreme Court and END all buffer zones across the entire nation.
- South Carolina: Prayer volunteers have been told by local police that they cannot stand in the public right of way. A Planned Parenthood employee is on the county council and employs the police chief, who also refuses to take action against Planned Parenthood volunteers filmed stealing 40 Days for Life signs.
All the persecution is due to God effectively using 40 Days for Life to save lives.
Your gift will be multiplied on the front lines, as we have seen God use 40 Days for Life to save 23,000 babies, close 139 abortion facilities, and help convert 251 abortion workers.
After years of disappointing Supreme Court decisions and weak pro-life politicians, abortion is leaving D.C. and going to where the pro-life movement is the strongest: the grassroots.
We can close an abortion facility ANYWHERE. 45% of the U.S. abortion facilities we’ve closed were in blue, pro-abortion states where abortion will remain legal and often celebrated.
40 Days for Life is built for a post-Roe America, with 1 million volunteers in 1,500 cities, 40 Days for Life University, and in-person trainings--like this past weekend's second annual Post-Roe Symposium--for thousands of local leaders.
The battle is difficult but needed. We will support our selfless volunteers with the best lawyers because the unborn deserve the best professional legal support in a culture that denies their existence.
Please pray for this much-needed project and give generously to financially support it: 40daysforlife.com/donate
