As we prepare to enter the Lenten season — a time set aside to grow in faith and draw closer to what truly matters — we invite you to join us on February 27 from 6:00–8:00 PM at Misión Andrés (the same building as Centro Tepeyac, 12247 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20902) for the first night of our 2026 Speaker Series.
Our speaker, Mabel De la llana, will be sharing with us about the meaning of agape love — the selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love that reflects the heart of God. Through her journey in marriage and motherhood, Mabel has leaned on God as her strength, guide, and foundation. She’ll speak about how this kind of love isn’t just an idea, but a daily choice: to love when it’s hard, to forgive when it stretches you, and to serve with joy rooted in faith.
Her life is a testimony that agape love is not about perfection — it’s about surrender, grace, and trusting God in every season. It’s the kind of love that allows us to welcome life, accompany one another in vulnerability, and remain present even when the path forward is uncertain.
