Planned Parenthood advocates held up large rainbow umbrellas to screen an abortion client from 40 Days for Life sidewalk counselors.
Prayer warriors didn't give up.
After entering Planned Parenthood, the pregnant woman returned to her car to discuss the impending abortion with her husband. Mai-Lan from the Wichita 40 Days for Life team walked past the car and waved--prompting a conversation.
"I need to talk to you," the expectant mom said, explaining that she had come from Texas because she only planned to have one child.
Suddenly, the first child popped up in the back seat of the vehicle, leading 40 Days for Life participant Don to burst into tears. After a moving and encouraging conversation, the couple decided to head back to Texas with their child safe in the womb!
"You just saved my baby's life," the father beamed. "We're going to keep this baby."
Fatima, Portugal
European 40 Days for Life leaders gathered in Fatima for a conference to bolster their campaigns.
And that's saying something. They are already operating at a very high level. With more than two dozen campaigns across Spain and one of the world's most fruitful 40 Days for Life vigils in Portugal, 40 Days for Life has exploded across the Iberian Peninsula.
These vigils have saved hundreds of babies over the last decade--in spite of Spain having some of the most draconian anti-pro-life-speech laws on the planet.
