One doesn’t need to be a rocket scientist to realize that Andrew Cuomo's stock is plunging by the hour...but for the moment, he is still the governor of New York.

Cuomo infamously lit up the World Trade Center in pink to celebrate signing a law that legalized abortion up to birth.

But New York's 40 Days for Life participants aren't letting their government's barbaric policies stop them from saving lives.

A passerby stopped to listen to a 40 Days for Life rally in front of Schenectady's Planned Parenthood facility.

She was in her third trimester of pregnancy...and intent on having a late-term abortion.

Sarah didn't know any of this when she stood up to address the rally, discussing the children she has lost to miscarriage and why it's important to acknowledge their human dignity.

Sarah's message pierced the heart of the 29-week-pregnant mother, who stepped forward to ask for help.

Fortunately, the community's mobile ultrasound van was present--and ready to assist!

"Everyone backed away as the team provided an ultrasound," reported Schenectady campaign leader Colleen. "She is going to keep her [baby]."

God used Sarah to deliver the perfect message at the perfect time.

Manhattan, New York

A Manhattan campaign event united 75 40 Days for Life participants--for four hours of prayer!

The public vigil takes place at Planned Parenthood's flagship location. The abortion facility formerly known as the Margaret Sanger Planned Parenthood was recently renamed after America's leading abortion provider finally acknowledged its founder's racist beliefs.

"Bishop [Peter] Byrne walked with a group of us to pray at Planned Parenthood," reported Laurie, the campaign leader in Manhattan. The Sisters of Life also joined the vigil.

Hempstead, New York

A sidewalk counselor gave a pregnancy help center flyer to a mother and daughter entering Planned Parenthood in Hempstead.

The women then drove into the Planned Parenthood parking lot, where they sat in the car...but did not enter the facility. Shortly thereafter, they left the abortion center. On the way out of the parking lot, the daughter smiled at vigil participants as she held up the pregnancy help center flyer.

"Thanks to the sidewalk counselors and the prayer warriors, this is more than likely an abortion turnaround," wrote the Pro Bikers for Life, who lead the Hempstead vigil. "Please keep this young woman in your prayers."

That wasn't the only powerful encounter the group had.

“I want you to know what you are all doing is a very good thing," a man told 40 Days for Life participants on Long Island. "My mother told me that when she was pregnant, she was going to have an abortion. Some men out front spoke with her, and I am only here today because of that."

Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this, in His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.

— Job 12:9-10

Thank you, Father God, for being the Creator of my life and every life. Please give me, and the society in which I live, an appreciation for your gift of life. Please help us set aside our pride and acknowledge that we need you. Show me how I can honor you today in response to all the blessings you bestow freely.
