The abortion industry isn't even trying to hide the demonic nature of abortion any more.

With Halloween approaching, a Bangor, Maine, abortion facility urged its social media followers to "practice witchcraft" and to "cast some spells" on 40 Days for Life participants.

The facility's bizarre post exposes the lie that abortion is health care. Real health care providers don't place curses.

Nor do they urge supporters to drive by and play sexually explicit music to "give [vigil participants] a scare."

"Death metal also works well," the post continues.

This stunt is juvenile, embarrassing, and...encouraging!

The abortion industry only needs to resort to shock value because your prayerful presence is bad for business.

So take a bite out of your local abortion center's bottom line by finding your nearest 40 Days for Life vigil and signing up to pray at:

Lynnwood, Washington

Lynnwood 40 Days for Life leader Rebecca handed an abortion pill brochure to a 19-year-old waiting at a crosswalk. It proved to be a divine encounter.

The woman had missed her bus, so Rebecca drove her home. "The young woman shared that she'd been trafficked as a young girl. Now she is a pro-life Christian and was shocked to learn how easy abortion pills are to get.

"She definitely sees how [abortion pills] can be used by sex traffickers and how forcing abortions on their victims would only compound their trauma," Rebecca relayed. "When I dropped her off at her apartment, she thanked me for the ride, encouraged me to keep doing pro-life work, and said she was glad that she met me."

The Lynnwood vigil got some young reinforcements, too!

About 25 students braved the pouring rain to pray with the vigil--then sang songs in English and Latin at the end of their shift!

"Having such a large group of young people on the sidewalk at one time was inspiring!" Rebecca said.

Tenjo, Colombia

A 40 Days for Life sign on a car windshield changed a mother's mind in Tenjo!

The baby's father approached the volunteers with teary eyes the next morning. He had opposed the abortion, but he went with his unborn baby's mother to the hospital anyway. When she saw the 40 Days for Life sign parked out front, she felt she couldn't go through with it.

"She decided to say 'yes' to life, despite having already made significant progress in the process, including a consultation with a psychologist," the father of the now-safe baby said. "Thank you for praying for life."

Fullerton, Maryland

Catholic 40 Days for Life volunteers turned out in force on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary!

They prayed for life--and gave thanks for beautiful weather.

"We will not stop praying, standing vigil, and fasting for life," wrote Fullerton leaders Maria and Beth. "Thank you to our faithful volunteers for always showing up!"

Jesus told him, "Have sight; your faith has saved you."

—Luke 18:42

Dear Lord, give us the courage to pray for miraculous healings of body and soul. Extend your mercy to mothers and fathers who have experienced miscarriage. Grant them the peace of your son, and help them to rest in the assurance that they will one day be reunited with their precious children. Amen.
