Planned Parenthood despises 40 Days for Life for many reasons.

But one reason stands out and is the practical result of physically praying outside--we witness just how many ambulances go in and out of abortion facilities as a result of their "safe" abortions.

This happens across, America but one Planned Parenthood leads the way with ambulance visits--the St. Louis, Missouri Planned Parenthood facility.

Pro-lifers have tallied dozens upon dozens of ambulance visits to the troubled facility in recent years.

In fact, the location has been such a disaster that America's leading abortion chain recently opened a new abortion mega-facility just across the Illinois border to handle St. Louis-area clients.

The opening of the new Planned Parenthood reduced the number of abortions in Missouri to about 50 in 2020--and also resulted in speculation that the Show-Me State had become America's first abortion free state.

But St. Louis 40 Days for Life participants received a disturbing confirmation that the local Planned Parenthood is back in business when yet another ambulance arrived to take a client to the hospital.

"This ambulance is a reminder of why the Pro-Life community must continue to fight for LIFE," wrote longtime St. Louis campaign leader Brian Westbrook. "No abortion is a 'safe abortion,' and even one abortion is too many."

Unfortunately, the ambulance in St. Louis was not an isolated incident.

40 Days for Life participants report ambulance visits at abortion facilities throughout the country.

Ann Arbor, Michigan

40 Days for Life participants observed TWO ambulances show up to Planned Parenthood in a span of just five days!

They have now counted 12 ambulance arrivals since 2015.

"Please note that there are no lights and no siren as the ambulance leaves Planned Parenthood," said Sandie, the Ann Arbor 40 Days for Life leader. "We have recordings of a 911 call where Planned Parenthood requested that there are no lights and no sirens."

Houston, Texas

So many women have been injured having abortions at Houston's Planned Parenthood that the Houston Coalition for Life (which leads the local vigil) keeps a record of 911 calls from the facility.

"Women deserve better than abortion!" said 40 Days for Life leader Theresa. "We pray women, in their moment of crisis, will NOT fall for the lies that surround abortion."

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

"Please pray," pleaded Oklahoma City campaign leader Noelle. "My husband and two other people present for the 40 Days for Life OKC location witnessed someone taken by ambulance... There is nothing 'safe' about this."

Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sin is covered. Blessed is the one to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.

— Romans 4:7-8

Our Most Gracious Heavenly Father, thank you for your amazing grace that saved a wretch like me. I come against the enemy of my soul who would have me feel cast down and dejected. Lord, keep your children from falling prey to the accusations of the father of lies. Turn our mourning into dancing and may we bring praise to you as we give testimony of Your healing and restoration in our lives.
