Eva, the 40 Days for Life leader in Guatemala, just met a baby whose mother chose life after hearing Eva speak two years ago!
Some women at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary spotted Eva's 40 Days for Life T-shirt and signs and called her over.
"Two years ago, you came to our parish to give a talk about the campaign," one of them said. "At that time, I was pregnant and considering abortion, but after your talk, I decided to have my baby. And I want you to meet her!"
Houston, Texas
A woman stopped to thank Florentina for praying because years ago, she chose life for a baby conceived in rape!
The woman's attacker left her for dead, and she was in a coma for three days. All her family members pressured her to abort. But she chose life and placed her son with adoptive parents she picked herself.
She is married with a family now. Ten years ago, her children found the mementos she had kept, and she told them her story. They reached out to their biological brother and reunited!
She said she shares her story to help other women.
"I believe this powerful testimony can help [assure] other women who have suffered from rape or incest that evil doesn't have the last word when they choose life," Florentina wrote.

God, we ask that those who have participated in abortion will know that your mercy does not expire. Help us to forgive as you do so that others might come to understand the dignity of every human life, including their own. Convert the hearts of abortionists. May they experience your forgiveness as so many others have. Amen.
